I like this author's style. She drew you into the story right from the beginning with the fear Sloan and her girls are going through. The situation the characters are experiencing is plausible and the actions the characters take to protect themselves is well thought out. There are no dumb actions taken by the characters to move the plot along. I like strong, smart thinking women. The characters are well developed and had depth.There are many twists and turns in this storyline making the story interesting. I will definitely be reading the next book in this story.Along with the novel, I purchased the audiobook. The narrator did a superb job with differentiation of the characters' voices, along with believable male and female ones.I highly recommend this book.
